CREC, working with and for its member districts, has developed a wide array of cost-effective and high-quality programs and services to meet the educational needs of children and adults in the Capitol Region since 1966. CREC's mission is to work with boards of education and community based organizations of the Capitol Region to improve the quality of public education for learner of all ages. CREC's vision is that every student can learn at high levels if she/he has access to effective and quality educational programs and if her/his social, emotional, and academic needs are met by the learning environment. To achieve CREC's mission and goals, CREC will: *Promote cooperation and collaboration with local districts and other community based organizations that are committed to the improved quality of public education. *Provide cost-effective services to member districts clients; *Respond to client needs for improved quality public education *Provide leadership in the region through the quality of its services and its ability to identify and share quality services with its member districts and with other community organizations committed to public education.

Under this provision participating districts and schools provide free breakfast and lunch to all students at all times. CT Teacher Residency Program announces partnership with University of Hartford Hartford Conn. The Connecticut Teacher Residency Program CT TRP is thrilled to announce a brand new partnership with the University of Hartford that allows graduates of the program to enter a Master of Education program at the University while transferring in up to 15 credits from their residency coursework.
