New Jersey Mental Health Institute (NJMHI) NJMHI Leadership Academyfor Behavioral Healthcare Professionals Continues to Grow The NJMHI Leadership Academy for Behavioral Healthcare Providers has grown significantly from the first to the second cohort and again between the second and third groups. This yearlong program was launched in October 2022 to offer career development opportunities for emerging leaders in all positions clinical administrative information technology legal finance human resources etc. in mental health substance use disorder and intellectualdisabilities treatment and support services and other social services organizations. In addition to building their skills for future leadership roles mentees contribute to their organizations longterm sustainability and improve the quality and consistency of care provided to the individuals served.
