Riverdale’s 2025 Varsity Athletics Awards Night brought the community together to celebrate an extraordinary year in sports. Coaches honored teams and presented MVP and Coaches Awards, senior athletes were recognized, and three-sport varsity athletes received personalized memory books. Director of Athletics John Pizzi reflected on the year's accomplishments, including multiple league and NYSAIS championships. Who says great art can’t come in small sizes? The Artist Trading Cards (ATC) event is a global tradition that brings artists together to trade and collect original miniature artworks, much like baseball cards. This event has been a beloved middle school tradition for the past three years at Riverdale. Each year, a guest artist is invited to share insights into their creative process and trade ATCs with students. It’s a fun and engaging way to foster creativity, build community, and celebrate the value of original art. This year we welcomed artist Noah Post. Noah is a New York-based abstract expressionist artist who paints large-scale mixed-media paintings. His talk about the importance of experimentation and creative expression inspired the students. He also made ATCs and traded with middle school artists. It was truly an exciting event for all!! (fb)
