Since 2005, we've brought environmental infrastructure to low-income neighborhoods, engaged residents to design and implement these projects, and ensured that environmental investments contribute to community well-being. The heart of our mission is the unwavering dedication to empowering communities and creating a lasting environmental impact. Through the power of social enterprise, outreach, and advocacy, we are building environmental wealth that benefits everyone.

What we do Since 2005 Verde brings new environmental investments to Portlands neighborhoods involves community members in the planning and building of these investments and ensures that lowincome people and people of color directly benefit from these investments. Social Enterprise Our licensed general contracting social enterprise can conceive design and implement environmental infrastructure projects. Outreach Our outreach programs engage community members peer organizations and policymakers about the connection between protecting the environment and building community.
