Making It Home: Tom’s Story 🏡 Tom came to California in the 1980s with the Marines. Years later, when his mother moved out west, he stayed to help care for her through her battle with Alzheimer’s. After she passed, Tom struggled to pay for outstanding medical expenses and experienced homelessness for the first time. Through the VA, Tom was connected with PATH. Eventually, he was able to move into his own apartment at PATH’s supportive housing site for Veterans, Marmion Way. With on-site services and a supportive community, he finally found a place to rest and rebuild. PATH Community Spotlight: PATH Villas Hollywood 🏡✨ PATH’s Villas Hollywood is a 60-unit affordable housing community that has provided stable homes for seniors in Los Angeles. The site formerly served as interim housing, but thanks to PATH Ventures, we were able to convert this to long-term supportive housing. This modern building is designed with a dramatic, angular facade, and includes amenities that enhance comfort and community, like: 🌳 Sunny courtyard with shaded seating 🍽️ Roof deck with grills, dining areas, and citrus trees 🏙️ Panoramic city views from each unit 💙 On-site case management, social services, and community room 🚗 Parking garage for residents At PATH, we know that affordable housing changes lives.
