During our Kaduna Teachers Training in April, participants shared some of the challenges they face including limited resources, little or no training on digital tools, and different levels of student engagement. Some of the practical solutions we discussed were: • Access to free tools like Kahoot, Scratch, Nearpod, and PHET • Using offline resources like Kolibri in low-internet areas • Student-centered teaching methods like group work and gamification • Time management and SEL tips to help manage stress • Creating low-cost STEM aids using items like bottle caps and sticks • Joining teacher communities on LinkedIn and WAAW groups • Encouraging peer collaboration and shared learning Want to read more?
