The Collings Foundation is a non-profit 501c3 foundation dedicated to living history through the Wings of Freedom Tour & the Vietnam Memorial Flight. The Collings Foundation is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit, Educational Foundation supporting the Wings of Free The purpose of the Collings Foundation is to organize and support “living history” events and the presentation of historical artifacts and content that enable Americans to learn more about their heritage through direct participation. Since 1989, a major focus of the Foundation has been the “Wings of Freedom Tour” of WWII aircraft. This tour showcases these aircraft to over 110 cities over a 300 day tour season annually. The Collings Foundation also operates the Vietnam Memorial Flight from Ellington Airfield in Houston, TX commemorating the veterans of the Vietnam War with our operational F-4 Phantom, TA-4 Skyhawk, F-100 Super Sabre, and UH-1 Huey.
