Downing Park Conservancy
Historic Urban Lanscape Park designed by Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux Act as an advocate for the preservation of Newburgh’s aesthetically and historically significant landmark, Downing Park, which is part of the City’s East End Historic District.
To generate use of Downing Park by the entire community by sponsoring events and encouraging other organizations to do the same. Sponsored programs will include, but not be limited to cultural, educational, historical and recreational events.
