Join us this Saturday for the official opening of the new Christian to Crescent segment — a beautiful half-mile addition connecting Christian Street to Grays Ferry Crescent. This long-awaited section reclaims a stretch of the riverfront once cut off by industry and infrastructure, creating a seamless connection for walkers, runners, and cyclists. Follow a winding path along the Schuylkill River and under I-76, leading to a stunning 650-foot white cable-stayed offering breathtaking river views. And at night, the bridge will light up, casting a glow across the skyline! “This is a relatively short piece of trail, but a really mighty trail,” said Daniel Paschall, the East Coast Greenway Alliance’s Mid-Atlantic manager.
