This past weekend we were hit by an ice storm. Unfortunately, the wide-spread damage we did experience has greatly impacted our sugar bush, as well as our beautiful landscape. Our sugar bush consists of the Sugar Maple trees necessary for us to make Maple Syrup. There were additional damages to the heifer barn roof, a tractor, numerous fences, and some miscellaneous Farm equipment. Luckily all of our animals & staff are safe! A beautiful image A Beautiful Image A Beautiful Image About The Farm Spring Brook Farm home of Farms for City Kids is a traditional dairy farm located in Reading Vermont. It spans more than 1000 acres and is home to a wide array of livestockthe maintenance and care of which keep our Farms for City Kids students quite busy. Our Farm is home to over 100 registered Jerseys and the 42 milking cows produce over 600000 lbs. of milk each year.
