Boston Senior Home Care is a non-profit human services agency that provides older adults and people with disabilities with the resources and supports needed to live safely and independently in their place of choice. Making a difference in the lives of older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers, particularly of limited means, is what Boston Senior Home Care strives for every day. When you give to Boston Senior Home Care, you bring hope, relief and a better quality of life to thousands of people who depend on us to remain safe at home and in the community. While we receive public funding for many of our programs, we also rely on individual and corporate donations to help us provide services and supports that are either not covered or only partially covered by public programs. With your generous support, we can continue to be the social safety net and promote health equity for low-income individuals and families in the community who need essential services and resources.

Boston Senior Home Care
Every other week, residents at South Cove West have been hard at work practicing mindfulness through the Mindfulness and Meditation for Older Adults Program. Hosted by Age Strong with live translation services, this 8-session program guides older adults through meditative practices and tools for gratitude, stress reduction, and healthy living. Classes will continue until June.

Congratulations to the graduates of the Chronic Disease Self-Management Class at South Cove East. For 7 weeks, these older adults studiously completed their weekly assignments and learned about endurance exercises, breathing techniques, pain management, healthy communication, and food label reading. Now, they're ready to take their health into their own hands.
