Our new Arts, Culture, & Democracy Program is bringing democracy to life, and young people to the table. At our Dinner & Dialogue in Westport, CT, students explored the connection between food and democracy—uncovering how Afro-Indigenous foodways carry stories of resilience, identity, and civic responsibility. Together with the Westport Museum for History & Culture, we created a space for high school students to connect through shared meals, cultural history, and honest dialogue about power, belonging, and community.
