Metro World Child is the world's largest Sunday School, reaching over 600,000 less privileged children around the world every week through our global missions. Metro World Child is a global, faith-based humanitarian organization dedicated to serving at-risk children throughout New York City, various urban centers. Our mission at Metro World Child is to reach at-risk children worldwide with the message of the Gospel, to lead them into their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to the best of our ability, help meet whatever spiritual, practical and emotional needs that arise.
Metro World Child
Metro World Child is a global, faith-based nonprofit organization headquartered in New York City. It was founded by Bill Wilson in 1980 under the name Metro Ministries before adopting its current name. The organization is dedicated to serving underprivileged inner-city children around the world.
History
Since its inception, Metro World Child has pioneered the concept of Sidewalk Urban Outreach, which has been replicated by thousands of people across the globe whom they have trained. This innovative approach focuses on reaching children and families in urban environments.
Mission and Programs
