Philanthropic and Social organization Supports local Special Olympics and other charities; Hosts regular member networking activities, Charity Balls, and popular games of cards and bocce The Naples Italian American Foundation operates exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. We celebrate, promote, and preserve Italian culture and heritage in Southwest Florida by hosting culturally themed events, lectures, films and festivals. Our Italian Festivals coincide with major feast days in Italy. Out Italian language classes are open to the public and teach dozens of students each year. Our U.S. national holiday events commemorate special U.S. holidays. We proudly sponsor the Special Olympics bocce team, hosted on our courts and mentored by our members.
