Today’s winning ticket was pulled by Jean Campbell, Bourne’s Town Archivist, inside the Jonathan Bourne Historical Center, a building that’s deeply rooted in our community’s history. Originally built as Bourne’s first public library in 1892, the building was repurposed in the 1980s and now houses four of the town’s key historical organizations: the Bourne Historic Commission, the Bourne Historical Society, the Town Archives, and the Bourne Society for Historic Preservation. It’s the heart of historical preservation in town, and we’re so glad to highlight it for today’s drawing.
