Demetrious Glimidakis. Our goal is to bring the Orthodox Christian faith to the people of the greater Lakeland area. Our mission parish was formed in 2005 and we have steadily grown. All are welcome please stop by or contact us for more info. The Orthodox Church is evangelical, but not Protestant. It is orthodox, but not Jewish. It is catholic, but not Roman. It isn't non-denominational - it is pre-denominational. It has believed, taught, preserved, defended and died for the Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost 2000 years ago. We are spreading the Word of God via in-person services and online (via our website, YouTube channels and FaceBook pages). We are active in our community outreach, we work with Polk County School System & Winter Haven food bank and internationally by contributing to IOCC.
