THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO LEAD IN SHAPING THE COLLEGE COUNSELING, ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT PROFESSION BY: -DEVELOPING ETHICAL & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY WITHIN THE PROFESSION THROUGH THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF HIGH PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS; -SUPPORTING AND ENCOURAGING COLLABORATIVE RELATIONSHIPS AND PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL MEMBERS; -ADVOCATING FOR POLICIES WITH IMPACT THE PROFESSION AT THE STATE, REGIONAL AND NATIONAL LEVEL; AND -FOSTERING DEVELOPMENT OF EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR, AND ACCESS TO, POST SECONDARY EDUCATION FOR ALL STUDENTS, UTILIZING THE COLLECTIVE INFLUENCE AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE MEMBERS.
