By means of periodic publication or otherwise, it shall disseminate information to students, faculty and employees of Syracuse University concerning university affairs, meetings, events and other items of educational interest or that serve the convenience of such persons. It shall provide a non-partisan forum for expression by students, faculty members and community members of opinions concerning the University and educational matters in general along with world and local matters. It shall provide valuable educational experience to students and others in writing, editing, photography, design, art and management.
