SPIN USA builds strong families, strong schools and strong social service agencies. Leaders in schools and agencies know that parents, teachers and social workers want to be caring and effective in their roles, but that skills and knowledge may still fall short. These leaders need tools and direct service program models that are evidence based and really improve  outcomes for children, youth and families their agencies serve.  SPIN offers direct service models, staff development models and leadership development models that that quickly improve the helping, teaching, parenting and leadership environments that are the core of effective work with children and parents. In addition to our direct service family support/parenting model, we train professionals and leaders to acquire new skills in supervision and management and to more effectively apply what they know to their work with staff. Our innovative method involves detecting, learning from, and building on family and staff strengths in videotaped material from real helping encounters and family interactions.
