At the Najim Charitable Foundation, we wear blue today to raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention Month—a time to reflect, honor, and act. Child abuse can leave lasting emotional and physical scars. The trauma, if left unaddressed, can lead to lifelong challenges—addiction, difficulty forming relationships, and even changes to brain development. 🧠💔 But healing is possible—with therapy, support, and community. ❤️‍🩹 Today, we thank the advocates, therapists, caregivers, teachers, and all the individuals who show up for children and adults who carry the weight of abuse. 🙏 Through our lived and work experiences, NCF staff have met some of the most beautiful people—those who bear these scars with strength and compassion, using their journey of healing as a beacon of hope for others.
