Purrfect timing! ☔️🐾 Mass Dot, a three-year-old community cat, and her five, four-week-old kittens (Toll, Plate, Pike, E-Z Pass, and On-Ramp!) were rescued by ARL's Field Services team just before today's Nor'easter blew in. After being spotted by a custodian at the Haynes Early Education Center in Roxbury yesterday, our team was able to quickly corral the mom and kittens and rescue them from the vulnerable position they were in. This family is now safely parked at our Boston Animal Care & Adoption Center, where they are doing well and receiving the medical care needed to allow them to thrive. Due to their young age, mom and kittens will have to make a pitstop at foster care before hitting the road and heading off to their new homes. . . . .
