Meet Chacho! Are you looking for a fun-loving little guy who enjoys any kind of play with every toy imaginable? Then this 2-year-old spunky pup might just be the match for you! Chacho has been through a lot of change in his short life and although he hasn’t found his perfect fit quite yet, we know it’s out there! Chacho is looking for a quieter home with a patient, experienced adopter who will teach him that not all strangers mean danger. Although new people can make him nervous, Chacho loves making dog friends and could live with one in his new home, pending a meet. He loves tug and fetch and enjoys pets on his terms. Once he gets to know you, Chacho forms a strong bond and is very loving with his chosen people. Could that be you? Come find out this week during our open adoption hours, Wednesday through Sunday from 1:00-6:00pm, at our Boston Animal Care & Adoption Center (10 Chandler St). . . . . Happy World Rat Day! 🐀 Despite all the myths and misconceptions, rats are in fact friendly, loyal, intelligent, and very endearing, making them excellent pets. Jerry and Stuart are two ARL alums who have been proving just that since going off to their new home last month. They have settled in nicely to their new environment and their adopter has been enjoying getting to know them, recently learning that they aren’t the biggest fans of kale! While we don’t currently have any rats available for adoption, we have quite a few other smallies looking for new homes! Learn more about them by visiting https://arl.boston/adopt. . . . .
