Each summer 180 students from around the world head to Meadowmount in the Adirondacks to participate in a seven-week intensive music program. TO ENCOURAGE, PROMOTE AND AID THE ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT OF MUSICIANS ON STRINGED INSTRUMENTS, SPECIFICALLY THROUGH A SUMMER SCHOOL DEVOTED EXCLUSIVELY TO INSTRUCTION FOR STRINGED INSTRUMENTS; AND TO PROMOTE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC AN APPRECIATION OF THE PLAYING OF STRINGED INSTRUMENTS.

Meadowmount School of Music for Violin, Viola and Cello For more than 80 years Meadowmount School of Music has been Americas most respected and beloved summer home for rising generations of violinists violists and cellists. I had three students attend Meadowmount last summer. They loved it and thrived. They are hooked on the Meadowmount School of Music and will return as often as possible.
