Dorset Theatre Festival is a professional equity summer theatre, producing four mainstage productions between June and September each year at the Dorset Playhouse, which is located in beautiful Southern Vermont. To be the pre-eminent regional theatre that, in collaboration with its artists, audiences and community, is seeking to redefine the American theatrical landscape by developing new plays and producing theatre that matters.

Enlightening entertaining and inspiring audiences since 1976 the Festivals annual celebration of great plays runs June through September and features top theatremakers from around the country.
