Jewish Family & Children's Service
As our population ages, more and more people are living with dementia, yet widespread fear and stigma continue to make it harder for people to seek support and to maintain social connections. To help address these challenges, JF&CS is honored to receive a $180,000 three-year grant from the philanthropic arm of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, Point32Health Foundation. With this generous support, we will expand our work in the community to provide culturally attuned education about dementia and uplift the voices of those living with the disease.

JF&CS's Project NESST, a site of the statewide program FIRST Steps Together, supports parenting people in recovery from substance use, as well as families parenting a substance-exposed infant or young child. Our clinicians and maternal recovery specialists recently gathered with clients at a local playground. It was a beautiful day—a special opportunity to connect and see families enjoying time together.
