The Orange Class (3s) has been so curious about where they live! They’ve been asking classmates and teachers, “Do you live in Brooklyn?” To support their curiosity, teachers helped them to explore New York as our state, Brooklyn as our city, and Williamsburg as our neighborhood. Together, the children mapped out our community—marking where they live and the places they like to visit. Along the way, they made connections, noticing who lives nearby, identifying neighbors, and recognizing shared community spaces! (fb)
