This morning Mayor Eric Adams and NYC Department of Social Services Commissioner Molly Waso Park and Community Housing Innovations CEO Ron Abad hosted a joyous housewarming event at CHI's newest affordable housing residence for previously homeless familes in the Bronx. The builiding prioritizes women-led households. "I am so grateful," said Chanda James-Govan who moved into the building with her special needs son after living in a shelter for six months. “We are putting New York City’s women first and giving them homes to call their own so they can thrive,” said Mayor Adams.
