This Yom Hashoah, join us for a free virtual discussion with Jody Savin, author of “Stitched & Sewn: The Life-saving Art of Holocaust Survivor Trudie Strobel,” and artist Trudie Strobel. As a child survivor of the Holocaust, Strobel found therapeutic release through art, using traditional Yemeni embroidery taught to her by her mother, a master seamstress. We’ll share some of her remarkable tapestries and reflect on the importance of honoring and preserving our stories.
