THE PRIMARY MISSION OF THE VETERANS HEALTH RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF CENTRAL NEW YORK INC., AN IRS SECTION 501(C)(3) CORPORATION ESTABLISHED IN ACCORDANCE WITH USC TITLE 38, SUB CHAPTER IV - RESEARCH AND EDUCATION CORPORATION, SECTION 7361-7368 IS TO ADVANCE THE RESEARCH MISSION OF ALL SYRACUSE VA MEDICAL CENTER AND THE FINGER LAKES HEALTH CARE SYSTEM. THE OVERARCHING GOAL OF ALL RESERCH ACTIVITY IS TO IMPROVE MEDICAL CARE FOR ALL VETERANS.
