The Helen Bumpus Gallery is a non profit Art Gallery located in the Duxbury Free Library. It exhibits artists work form the New England area.The Gallery was started and founded by Helen McBurnie Bumpus of Duxbury in 1968. THE MISSION OF THE GALLERY IS TO ORGANIZE VARIOUS ART SHOWS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOR LOCAL ARTISTS TO EXHIBIT AND SELL THEIR WORK, TO SUPPORT YOUNG ARTISTS THROUGH EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS AND TO COLLABORATE WITH OTHER ART ASSOCIATIONS AND MUSEUMS IN THE LOCAL ARTS COMMUNITY.
