GSOFCT's Annual Giving Day is 12 days away! For this week's #throwbackthursday, we have a Girl Scout story that spans generations. Being a Girl Scout shapes a lifetime of memories and friendships. For alum Hannah Fiducia, the journey began long before her own Brownie years. Her own mother, a longtime Girl Scout, helped to pave the way for Hannah to join the organization, becoming a part of a lifelong sisterhood and helping to kick start her career in camps and recreation. One day, Hannah was a young Girl Scout attending Day Camp at Camp Laurel. Flash forward and she was leading the Counselor-In-Training program for 11 years. Her Girl Scout journey has taken her to Ireland, working with Girl Guides overseas, and helped to open the door to eventually obtaining her Master’s in Recreation Administration. Today, she’s a proud Troop Leader whose girls just bridged to Cadettes, and earlier this May, she stood at the Capitol with Girl Scouts from California, New York, Pennsylvania, and D.C., celebrating what it means to be part of something bigger.
