ArchCare mourns the passing of Bishop Gerald Walsh, who served the Archdiocese of New York as an auxiliary bishop since his episcopal ordination in 2004 and who was a cherished member of ArchCare’s board for over twenty years. Bishop Walsh was an ardent supporter of Catholic healthcare. His wise council, friendship, and trust over the years reflected his sincere and humble apostolic service to Christ and his Church.
