The foundation of Step Up To Life dates back to a sermon by Pastor Elmer Murdoch in February 1957, titled "Steps Leading to Salvation." This sermon laid the groundwork for the evangelistic booklet Step Up to Life, which was first published in 1971. Since then, the booklet has been translated into over 80 languages and distributed more than 15 million times across 75 countries on four continents.
