Thomas More Society Galveston-Houston
The St. Thomas More Society is a group of lawyers who meet to discuss the ways in bringing Christ and the Church’s teachings to the legal profession. The Thomas More Society of Galveston-Houston (STM) exists to assistattorneys and judges in the Houston metropolitan area to incorporate moral and ethical principles into their practice of law. STM accomplishes this by sponsoring 6-12 lectures per year on legal ethics. STM is recognized by the Texas Board of Legal Examiners as a sponsor providing qualifying hours of legal ethics to members of the Texas bar.

Our society provides spiritual and intellectual fuel to inspire lawyers judges and public servants to follow Christs path in the legal world. The Thomas More Society of the Archdiocese of GalvestonHouston is open to Catholic lawyers judges law students professors of law public servants and government officials active in the legal profession or public office and all individuals who are interested in the relationship between the Catholic faith and the law. The purpose of the Society is to encourage Catholic lawyers within the Archdiocese of GalvestonHouston to live a Christian vocation by sanctifying their daily work.

Thomas More Society Galveston-Houston
Join the Thomas More Society for Mass beginning 11:35 and Stations of the Cross, which follows immediately after Mass. A meatless lunch will be served on the Second Floor of Holy Cross Chapel after the conclusion of Stations of the Cross (lunch will begin at approximately 12:30). You are welcome to join the Thomas More Society for all of the devotions and lunch, or any part of this for which you have time.
