π Our third graders collected and packed boxes of food for families in need both locally and globally for our annual Day of Service. π On Friday, they had the chance to personally deliver these food boxes and "Coin Paks" to the Children's Hunger Fund. Then they rolled up their sleeves and helped prepare even more meals to send to those in need. π¬ Additionally, the kids raised money on their own to contribute, using creative ideas like Diego's awesome orange juice stand, which raised $170 dollars! Every $0.25 provides a meal. π Great job, Grade Three! #ghcTK12 #communityservice #gratitudepost (fb)
