What do students do beyond the block schedule? 👩‍🏫 Lucy '26 partnered with Yale to create Hodie et Cras (Today and Tomorrow), an event designed to give high schoolers an immersive look into the world of Classics. The event connected students to college-level studies, bridging present learning with the future of the field. “I wanted to create an opportunity for students to experience the field at the college level in a way that goes beyond what’s possible in a typical classroom,” she shared. Lucy coordinated with Yale professors, managed logistics, and reached out to students from multiple schools to bring the event to life, with support from Choate’s Language department. Her work doesn’t stop here—Lucy was accepted into the Harvard Classics Scholars-in-Training program this summer, a chance to deepen her knowledge and inspire future Hodie et Cras events. (fb)
