The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington, Vermont is a “home away from home” for families with seriously ill children seeking treatment at the University of Vermont Children’s Hospital. It is our aim to be a refuge for families experiencing the stress and anguish of their loved one’s illness. Whether for a short stay, or for weeks at a time, we provide families with the comforts of home as well as the support of our dedicated staff and volunteers.

Ronald McDonald House – Burlington, Vermont Learn About Our House. The Ronald McDonald House is a comfortable home away from home for families of children being treated at the UVM Childrens Hospital. Since 1984 we have supported families experiencing the stress of a childs illness by providing a restful convenient place to stay and home cooked meals every evening. We welcomed 97 Families in 2024 We provided over 1400 comfortable overnight stays in 2024 Our services impacted 119 children in 2024 Over 12000 home cooked meals were prepared served to our guests.
