What do all these incredible young people have in common? 🤔 They’ve faced the challenges of learning differences like dyslexia and ADHD head-on, and turned them into strengths. Whether through sports, music, engineering, advocacy, or entrepreneurship, each award winner has forged their own path, defied expectations, and inspired others along the way. From the debate stage to symphony halls to science labs, these students are showing the world what’s possible when learning differences are met with support, creativity, and resilience. We’re honored to celebrate their stories, their achievements, and their bright futures. Meet all our 2025 honorees at the link below 🥳 https://www.smartkidswithld.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Gala-Program-2025.pdf (fb)

We’re proud to celebrate Grant Lobo, our 2025 Junior Youth Achievement Award winner! From an early age, Grant struggled with dyslexia and ADHD and often felt like he didn’t measure up in the classroom. But with support, determination, and the right environment, he began to understand his strengths, and everything changed when he discovered tennis. On the court, he found confidence, focus, and a place where his learning differences didn’t hold him back. Now just 13, Grant is a nationally ranked tennis player, a USTA Brand Ambassador, and an advocate for kids with learning challenges. He credits dyslexia and ADHD for making him more resilient, driven, and creative–both in school and in sport. Grant’s story shows how embracing your differences can open the door to incredible opportunities. We can’t wait to see where his journey leads next! 😊 Learn more about our 2025 honorees at the link below! https://www.smartkidswithld.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Gala-Program-2025.pdf (fb)
