Hui Pono Holoholona founded in 2007, on the Big Isle Hawai'i Hilo/Puna side, is a 501c3, non-profit, 100% dedicated volunteers, seeking to decrease feline animal overpopulation, animal abandonment, and to decrease euthanasia of healthy animals at overcrowded Humane Societies, by providing accessible, feline no cost, low cost spay and neuter. Education on pet responsibility is also our endeavor to Humanely decrease animal overpopulation through animal sterilization, and too the importance of responsible pet companionship and ownership. HPH supports TNRM-Trap Neuter Return Management of Cat Colonies, by offering low cost/no cost Spay/Neuter. PAWS-Pono Animal Way Sanctuary is a 20 acre forever home for unadoptable and special needs cats.
