Today, my heart is heavy as I share the heartbreaking news that we’ve lost a true giant—my friend, my mentor, my colleague… Kirt Teasley. This one hurts deeply. Kirt wasn’t just someone I worked alongside—he was someone who shaped the way I think, the way I lead, and the way I serve others. His wisdom, his calm strength, and his unshakable belief in our youth and our city made him one of the most impactful men I’ve ever known. I will forever be grateful for the lessons he taught me—about life, about leadership, and about purpose. He was a guiding light not only in my journey, but in the lives of so many others. We’re sad. We’re stunned. But we’re also grateful—grateful that God allowed us to cross paths with someone as meaningful as Kirt.
