Discovering Justice is a civic and justice education nonprofit offering innovative in-school, after-school, and courthouse field trip programs for grades K-8 Discovering Justice is empowering a rising generation of leaders through an innovative civics curriculum which utilizes courtrooms as classrooms and classrooms as civic spaces—encouraging agency, empathy, and voice in K-8 students across Massachusetts. Discovering Justice envisions a society in which everyone is well-equipped with the knowledge, skills, and desire to build and sustain an equitable democracy. We bring students and communities together to examine the workings of the justice system, explore the ideals of justice, and prepare them to engage in our democracy.
