The Unquity House Corporation is a U.S. nonprofit organization associated with the Unquity House Senior Living community in Massachusetts. Unquity House itself is a retirement community managed by Milton Residences for the Elderly (MRE), a nonprofit organization established in 1968 to develop and manage affordable housing for seniors.

Historical Significance of the Name

The name "Unquity" traces its roots to a historical estate in Milton, Massachusetts, known as Unquity, which was once the summer estate of Thomas Hutchinson, a royal governor of Massachusetts. Although the original estate was demolished in 1947, the historical significance of the name reflects the area's rich colonial past.
