🐾 **Hey everyone, it’s Murray checking in!** 🐾 Wow, what a day! My doctor made a little incision on the right side of my neck and put a catheter into my carotid artery (sounds fancy, right?). Then she sent a balloon down it to open up the valve that was closed, which was making my heart work way too hard. Before surgery, my pressure was really high, but when she checked a little while ago, it was down to 30—she said that’s really good! She’s super pleased with how things went today, and guess what? She thinks I should have a pretty normal lifespan! 🥳 For now, I have to take it easy—no roughhousing with my pack for the next 10 to 14 days (ugh, that’s gonna be tough). But the best news? I’m just waiting for my foster mom and dad to pick me up so I can go home and start my recovery! Thank you for all your love, support, and positive vibes.
