Safe Haven Project, Inc.
Safe Haven's multi-faceted mission is to provide vital programs for young people, often isolated due to the prejudice and stigma still surrounding AIDS. Through camps, educational outreach, and global partnerships, and other activities young people gain a new connection - in a world where few try to understand them, Safe Haven cares and understands. Safe Haven also travels the US presenting at schools and conferences via our SPEAKOUT program. In 1998 - 2009, Safe Haven spoke in front of well over 90,000 teens. We have planned an additional 20 presentations in summer, 2010 as well as a camp for young people with HIV and AIDS in Mass. in April, 2010 and another in Arden NC in August 2010
