The Children's Law Center
Our mission is to give a child a strong and effective voice in a legal proceeding that has a critical impact on his or her life. We do this through providing legal services to children in contested custody and visitation cases and related matters. Our legal team is composed of a trial and writing/appellate unit. We work in collaboration in a holistic interdisciplinary model along with our social, paralegal, and client services team.

The outcomes to these cases deeply affect the lives of the children involved. Yet while each adult has an opportunity to speak to the Court the childs voice is often faint or not heard.
