🎓Graduation is a special event at Sterling College, designed to honor and celebrate our graduates. The graduation ceremony is thoughtfully planned with input from the graduates, reflecting their personal experiences and aspirations, including the selection of topics and themes for our commencement speakers. It is a moment of pride and emotion for everyone at Sterling and above all, it’s time to celebrate graduates and their families. 🌼This year we were honored to have Sterling Alum, Tracy Zschau '93 as our 26th commencement speaker. Tracy is a long-time champion of land conservation and has spent over 25 years with the Vermont Land Trust (VLT), where she currently serves as President & CEO—the first woman to hold this role in the organization’s history. Thank you to Tracy and everyone who made this year's ceremony such a special event. 🥳Most importantly, congratulations to the Class of 2025! 🥹 Now that commencement has passed, we find ourselves reflecting on the many memorable moments that made this Spring so special. From hand-crafted projects and inspiring class trips to well-earned work awards and impactful service days, the semester was full of energy, creativity, and connection. 🌱 We’re deeply grateful to be part of such a caring and dedicated community here at Sterling.
