DONATE NOW Support Welcome to theFeeder Canal Alliance The Feeder Canal Alliance is the steward of the Glens Falls Feeder Canal and 9 mile long Towpath Trail in New Yorks Warren and Washington Counties. The Glens Falls Feeder is the last remaining original canal in NY still operating as originally constructed to continuously carry water to the highest point of the Champlain Canal. Our Story From the early 1800s until 1941 the Glens Falls Feeder Canal provided a means of transportation by canal boats for people and numerous goods. The canal and towpath today provide four season recreational opportunities to community residents visitors and tourists as well as a glimpse into the past.
