Yesterday, the U.S. House Committee on Homeland Security unanimously passed H.R.4470, a bill to reauthorize the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (#CFATS) program through July 27, 2025. This is a promising step towards the final reauthorization of CFATS, a vital program enhancing national security and protecting 3,200+ U.S. chemical facilities.
