LWI helps the Army identify and utilize the capabilities of researchers from both public and private organizations to perform basic research and development technology transfer and to provide services related to current and future Army programs in the areas of Vision To leverage the capabilities of Missouri businesses universities and research organizations to provide technologyrelated products or services to the Army and Department of Defense DoD the result of which will be a stronger technology base in Missouri for meeting military technology requirements a more vibrant economy in the region and state and an enduring Fort Leonard Wood.
