On this 88th day of the year (World Piano Day!), we held our inaugural AMTA Collab Fest at Hendershot’s! 🙌 THANK YOU to the student performers for today’s fun mix of classical, jazz/blues, contemporary, and rock selections. We loved hearing everyone share their music with our local community! Special thanks to AMTA President Amanda Mazzaferro for launching this event, and to the teachers who contributed their time and talent. As always, a big thank you to @hendershots_ for their unwavering support of music education and our local music community ❤️ #athensmta #worldpianoday (fb)

We had a fantastic presentation by Dr. Liza Stepanova, diving into the fascinating world of Early Education Piano Methods in Soviet Pedagogy! It’s always inspiring to learn and explore different teaching traditions. A big shoutout to the Tonic members from UGA who joined us—thank you for being part of this enriching experience! 🎹✨ (fb)
