Wide Horizons For Children - International Child Welfare When a family is in crisis we intervene early to help prevent a child from becoming an orphan. Urgent Children in Dire Need Cant Wait A Family For Every Child For 50 years Wide Horizons has worked with orphaned children worldwide. During this time we have observed that a child is most at risk of becoming an orphan when a perfect storm of crises takes hold of their family. Given this truth we decided to see what would happen if we intervened with help BEFORE these crises took hold.
